There are several Tibet railway lines between Lhasa and other area in China. The best railway line is from Beijing – Lhasa railway and most of the travelers will choose this line. But it is not easy to buy the train ticket in the peak travel season. So the Xining – Lhasa line may be the best one since most of the travelers just want to see the scenery of the mountain covered with snow and the plateau. You will spend less time and not miss any highlight of the trip. Anyway there are other choices for you to take the train to Tibet. Also you can take the train from Lanzhou, Chengdu or Chongqing. All of these railway lines are good ones.
