Travel Tips

1. Buy a cable car ticket at entrance to go up the Simatai Great Wall (one way recommended) , From cable car station at midway, climb up (can be tedious for some) for about half hour and you are at the wall. From here, 
2. Bring plenty of water with you and pack a sandwich lunch.
3. Start the day early for the long drive to Simatai Great Wall. You need at least 4 hours on the wall itself to enjoy it.
