This will be a private tour for you and you can extend or shorten the sightseeing time at most sights inside Lhasa and Kathmandu city (except Potala Palace which has some time limit and shall be booked in advance) as well as add any sight you would like to visit in this two cities if time permits. And during travelling, you can always ask for stops anywhere you like along the way for photograph etc.

1) Comfortable Category Accommodation as noted (3-star hotel in Lhasa, Shigatse, Nagerkot, Kathmandu and Pokhara);
2) All transport and transfers with one private vehicle and one experienced driver in both Tibet and Nepal (In Tibet, it will be a 4WD Toyota 4500 Land Cruiser);
3) A local English-speaking tour guide in Tibet and Nepal;

Day by Day Lhasa Itinerary

Day 01 Arrive in Lhasa
Accommodation: Yak Hotel or Similar
Take flight to lhasa. Your Tibetan English-speaking tour guide will meet you at the airport and drive you to your hotel in Lhasa (about 100kms driving). Upon arrival, just take rest for high altitude acclimatization.

Day 02 Sightsee in Lhasa

Our sightseeing in Lhasa will cover the most splendid wonder in Tibet - Potala Palace, the spiritual center of Tibetan Buddhism - Jokhang Temple and the bustling Barkhor Street around it.

Day 03 Lhasa-Gyantse
Accommodation: Jianzang Hotel or Similar [B]
In the fresh morning, well drive about 270km to  the historic town of Gyantse crossing the Karo La Pass (5010m) and the Khamba La Pass (4800m) with a beautiful panorama of the Yamdrok Yumtso Lake on the way. Upon arrival, well visit the Pelkhor Monastery and its superb Kumbu Stupa, a stunning architectural wonder in Tibet..

Day 04 Gyantse-Shigatse
Accommodation: Yangtse Hotel or Similar [B]
Drive about 90km to Shigatse, the second largest city in Tibet. We’ll visit the foremost attraction there - Tashilumpo Monastery, then stroll around the old town for its nicely decorated Tibetan houses, interesting local bazaar.

Day 05 Shigatse-Tingri (Shegar)
Accommodation: Guesthouse [B]
Drive about 250km to Tingri via the Gantsola Pass (5220m).

Day 06 Tingri (Shegar)-EBC-Lao Tingri
Accommodation: Guesthouse [B]
It is around 100km bumpy road from Tingri to the Rongbuk Monastery and the Mt. Everest Base Camp. Upon arrival, it is your life-long experience with this highest mountain in the world.

Day 07 Lao Tingri-Zhangmu
Accommodation: Guesthouse [B]
Drive about 200km to Zhangmu, the lovely border town between Tibet and Nepal. It has a mild and humid subtropical climate which offers a charming natural scenery youll rarely see in Tibet.  On the way, you could enjoy the panoramic view of the snow-capped Himalayan Range.

Day 08 Zhangmu-Nagerkot
Accommodation: Hotel View Point or Similar [B]
In the morning, well transfer you to the Friendship Bridge (Kodari) where you are supposed to get through the formalities. Our Kathmandu partner will be awaiting for you at the other side of the bridge and drive you to Nagerkot for the great sunset view over the high mountains of the Himalayan range.

Day 09 Nagerkot-Kathmandu
Accommodation: Hotel Marshyangdi or Similar [B]
After enjoy the splendid sunrise over the Himalayan range at Nagerkot, we’ll drive to Kathmandu and visit the Bhaktapur, the least developed of the three cities in the valley famous for its woodcarving, pottery and cloth weaving, and the Patan Durbar Square which is noted for the exquisite carvings.

Day 10 Sightsee in Kathmandu
Accommodation: Hotel Marshyangdi or Similar [B]
Visit the famous Kathmandu Durbar Square (Kathmandus most impressive sight crowded with ancient temples and palaces), Swayambhunath Stupa (commonly known as the Monkey Temple, one of the worlds most famous Buddhist Chaityas) and the Bounddhanath (this ancient colossal stupa is the center of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal).

Day 11 Kathmandu-Pokhara
Accommodation: Lake View Resort or Similar [B]
Drive to the beautiful Pokhara and transfer to hotel there

Day 12 Sightsee in Pokhara
Accommodation: Lake View Resort or Similar [B]
In the morning, we’ll drive to Sarangkot Hill to see the sunrise and mountains of Annapurna range including over Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna Fish tail and many other small mountains. In the afternoon, we’ll take a walk at the Lake side and 1 hour boating in the Phewa Lake, visit the Davi’s Fall,

Gupteshwar cave and Seti river gorge.

Day 13 Pokhara-Kathmandu
Accommodation: Hotel Marshyangdi or Similar [B]
Drive back to Kathmandu via Manakamana cable car and transfer to hotel.

Day 14 Leave [B]
Free day and This eveninng we’ll transfer you to the International airport of Kathmandu for your flight back home. You will arrive in Beijing the next day. Your wonderful Tibet and Nepal tour ends.
